Warranty / Guarantee
Löbest Kft. provides a warranty for the products it distributes in accordance with the applicable laws.
According to Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.), certain durable consumer goods are subject to mandatory warranty, with the following durations:
- 2 years warranty if the product price is between HUF 10,000 – 250,000.
- 3 years warranty if the product price exceeds HUF 250,000.
Defective Products
If the purchased product proves to be defective, please return it to our webshop address: Contact.
Upon receipt of the product, an expert inspection will be carried out, which may take up to 30 days.
- If a manufacturing or material defect is confirmed: The product will be repaired or replaced and returned to you free of charge within 30 days.
- If the defect cannot be repaired and replacement is not possible: The purchase price will be refunded.
- If no defect is found, or the defect is not covered by the warranty (e.g., improper use): The product will be returned to you for a discounted shipping fee.

Non-Warranty Defects
Even after the warranty period has expired, or in the case of faults caused by normal wear and tear, we remain at the service of our customers.
In such cases, we will provide a repair quotation and make every effort to return the repaired tool to you as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
Lifetime Warranty for FELCO Products
The FELCO factory provides a lifetime warranty for forged and heat-treated aluminum alloy handles.
If a FELCO product purchased in the Metszőolló-shop fails, you may also return it by post to our webshop address.
We will always assist you in resolving the issue.
Statutory Warranty (Kellékszavatosság)
In the event of defective performance by the service provider, the customer may assert statutory warranty claims.
In the case of consumer contracts, warranty claims may be asserted within a 2-year limitation period from the date of delivery.
- After this 2-year limitation period, warranty rights can no longer be enforced.
- The customer may choose between repair or replacement, unless these are impossible or would impose disproportionate additional costs on the service provider.
- If the customer does not request repair or replacement, they may request a proportional reduction of the purchase price, repair the defect themselves (or have it repaired at the seller’s expense), or withdraw from the contract (withdrawal is not possible in the case of a minor defect).
- The customer must notify the service provider of the defect immediately after discovery, but no later than within two months.
Product Warranty (Termékszavatosság)
The consumer may choose to assert either product warranty or statutory warranty claims.
- Product warranty claim: The buyer may only request repair or replacement of the defective product.
- The defect must be proven by the buyer.
- Product warranty claims may be asserted within two years from the date the product was placed on the market by the manufacturer. After this period, the right is lost.
- The consumer must notify the manufacturer immediately after discovering the defect.
The manufacturer is exempt from product warranty liability if it proves that:
- The product was not placed on the market during its business activities,
- The defect did not exist at the time the product was placed on the market,
- The defect arises from legislation or mandatory regulatory requirements.
It is sufficient for the manufacturer or distributor to prove just one of the above grounds for exemption.
